Title: Contracts Manager
Location: Initial Remote (Locations: NJ/DC/VA)
Duration: Fulltime

Responsibilities

• Drive, negotiate and finalize various agreements in different jurisdictions, including sales, licensing, distribution, consultancy, services, NDAs and more.
• Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice and recommendations on numerous legal and business issues.
• Provide legal advice on a wide variety of legal matters to the company's different departments (Sales, Product, R&D, MIS, IT).
• Monitor and provide guidance on data privacy and other applicable laws and regulations.
• Create and maintain standard templates, business processes and internal policies to help scale the business.
• Interface with and manage support from outside counsel as needed.

Requirements/Experience

• Juris Doctorate – Graduate from an accredited law school.
• 5-7 years of working experience within a technology company (either leading law firm or a tech company).
• Commercial counsel only.
• Experience working with government (federal) customers and familiarity with FAR and DFAR provisions.
• Working knowledge of licensing and privacy and data protection laws (trademark/patent law knowledge an advantage).
• Negotiation skills with external and internal stakeholders.
• Prior global business working experience.
