Job summary

L3Harris Contracts Leadership Development Program (CLDP) is a selective, early-career rotational program designed to introduce participants to multiple experiences within the Contracts function. The program provides training, exposure to mentors and leadership, and relocation across sites in the U.S.

Participants will gain knowledge in proposal processes, contract administration, and risk management while collaborating with Finance, Programs, Engineering, and Sales to achieve program objectives.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor's in business related field.
• Willingness and ability to travel and relocate.
• Familiarity with U.S. government agencies is preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills under pressure.

Job Description

The L3Harris Contracts Leadership Development Program (CLDP) is seeking its second Cohort of motivated, dynamic, and high‑potential candidates. This prestigious rotational program is designed to introduce early career professionals to multiple experiences within the L3Harris contracts function. Selected individuals will gain knowledge, experience, and training while having exposure to mentors and leadership within the Finance & Contracts organization. The role requires relocation to sites with the U.S.

Job Duties

• Assist in the proposal, administration, and general business process for contract management support to complex, multi-year, Government, Commercial, and international programs, in accordance with Company policies, government regulations and customer requirements
• Outreach and partner with other key functional areas, such as Finance, Programs, Engineering, and Sales on new and continuing programs to ensure desired objectives and outcomes are achieved
• Analyze, assess and provide mitigation tactics for business and contractual risk
• Prepare, negotiate, review, and execute contracts detailing prices, terms and special provisions
• Assist in exploring new regulations and contract trends for potential impact on business goals and objectives
• Ensure compliance with government regulations, corporate policies and best practices

Qualifications

• To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in business related field or have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is [$61,000.00 MIN - $114,000.00 MAX]. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is [$53,500.00 MIN - $99,500.00 MAX]. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
