Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Contracts Coordinator to support administrative contract management for global projects. The role emphasizes setup and closure of project files, meeting coordination, and drafting or amending contract documents while ensuring regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree (or equivalent) in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, nursing or related field.
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice/ICH guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage time and work independently.
  • High proficiency with full MS Office Applications.
  • Strong communication, written and spoken English.
  • Ability to travel if necessary (approx. 5%)

Responsibilities

  • Set-up, maintain and/or close out project files and study information.
  • Attends, participates, prepares and distributes meeting minutes and action items for meetings; follows up with team members to closure.
  • Assist in administration of contract management and essential document processes across project, country and site levels.
  • Under supervision may assist in negotiations of budgets, contracts and CDAs with sites and sponsors.
  • Assist in generating (amended) contract/budget documents and streamline contract processes.
  • Review contracts for completeness and accuracy and ensure corrections are documented.
  • Maintain timely communication among team members and site staff.
  • Provide administrative support to Project Leads and functional leads.
  • Ensure all study documents are archived per guidelines and policy.

Job Responsibilities

  • Set-up, maintain and/or close out project files and study information.
  • Attends, participates, prepares and distributes meeting minutes and action items for both internal and external meetings (sponsor, trusted process, functional, investigator meetings). Follows up with team members on action items to closure.

Assists in administration of contract management and essential document processes, including coordination with relevant protocol, informed consent, institution, investigator, vendor, consultant, and customer agreement documents at a project, country and site level.

  • Under supervision may assist in negotiations of budget and contracts and confidential disclosure agreements with site with Sponsor until resolution of issues.

  • Assists in providing and generating (amended) contract and/or budget documents as necessary, preparing contract management documentation for projects, and streamlining the contract/proposal or internal processes; initiates and introduces creative ideas and solutions.

  • Assists in the reviews of contracts for completeness and accuracy, and ensures that corrections are appropriately made and documented.

  • Maintains timely and effective communication among team members and site staff.

  • Provide administrative support to Project Leads and functional leads.

  • Ensure all study documents are archived based on the appropriate guidelines and policy.

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree (or equivalent) level of qualification in life sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice/ICH guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage time and work independently.
  • High proficiency with full MS Office Applications.
  • Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal skills, both written and spoken, with an ability to inform, influence, convince, and persuade
  • Ability to travel if necessary preferred (approximately 5%)
  • High level of competence in English language
