Job Title: Contracts Associate


Location(s): San Francisco, CA

(Remote)



Job Description:

  • Academic research administration, grants management, contract and grant lifecycle, customer service-oriented.
  • Ability to lead negotiations for contracts and awards supporting national programs that provide critical grant funding to community organizations and communities.
  • Professional demeanor to resolve contracting issues and collaborate with sponsors and grantees.
  • Ability to implement innovative contracting strategies for community programs that enhance access to vital services and resources to support community-driven solutions.
  • Experience overseeing grant and award negotiations for programs that provide direct services, community education, and expand access to legal, economic, and workforce resources.
  • Provide policy guidance through meetings, briefings, or conferences to ensure compliance with federal grant regulations and best practices.
  • Serve as the team Point of Contact for sponsor program solicitations, ensuring alignment with relevant policy and legal updates.

Certificates and/or licenses required for the position, if applicable:

  • Law Degree (JD / Juris Doctor) preferred.

Schedule:

  • M-F 0800-1700, 20-40 hrs/week depending on floater pool needs.
