Level 2 Contract Administrator – San Diego, California (Hybrid). The Contract Administrator will support the Global Surveillance Division’s Autonomous Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Targeting (AISR&T) Business Unit with proposal development, submissions, negotiations, and program execution, providing contractual interpretation and guidance. The role interfaces with external customers, internal program management, functional management, and senior leadership to deliver contractual counsel and administrative support.

Essential Functions
  • Administers, extends, negotiates, and terminates standard and non‑standard contracts.
  • Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to ensure proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Processes specifications, progress, and other reports.
  • Advises management of contractual rights and obligations.
  • Compiles and analyzes data; maintains historical information.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in contracts management, contract administration, proposals, business management, or related experience, or a Master’s degree.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to be flexible and change directions when needed.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
  • Aerospace and Defense industry experience.
  • Experience in contract negotiations.
  • Prior knowledge and understanding of FAR and DFARS.
  • Experience with various contract types such as Cost‑type, IDIQ, Firm‑Fixed‑Price Incentive Fee, etc.
  • Experience supporting contracts involving complex production efforts.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Salary

Primary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 – $113,800.00 (variable based on scope, responsibilities, experience, and market).
