What you'll do
- Support the administration of a portfolio of federal contracts and task orders (FFP, Cost Reimbursement, T&M) from initial award through compliance monitoring and final closeout.
- Assist with setting up, modifying, and closing out contracts and task orders in Deltek Costpoint, maintaining audit-ready files and accurate funding records.
- Learn to interpret contract requirements, tracking funding status and compliance obligations to help project managers mitigate risks.
- Monitor cost, schedule, scope, and funding performance to help identify emerging variances or risks early.
- Review foundational FAR and DFARS clauses, helping to compile practical summaries for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Review and coordinate routine contractual instruments like NDAs in support of ongoing proposal efforts.
- Coordinate directly with Accounting, Subcontracts, and Proposal teams to help align billing, reporting, and contract administration activities.
What you need
- 6 months to 3 years of experience in federal government contracting or exposure supporting DoD and civilian agency contracts.
- Introductory exposure or basic familiarity with Deltek Costpoint - specifically contract data tracking or setup features.
- Foundational understanding of contract types, such as FFP, Cost Reimbursement, and T&M frameworks.
- Basic working knowledge or interest in learning FAR and DFARS compliance provisions.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, contracts management, finance, or a related field (equivalent experience considered).
Nice to have
- Interest in pursuing an NCMA certification (such as CFCM or CCCM) down the line.
- Prior experience or exposure supporting proposal teams and teaming agreements.
- Familiarity with basic government audit concepts or contract closeout steps.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

- Base salary: $55,000 - $85,000 per year
