Job summary

Sidus Space in Cape Canaveral, FL, seeks a Contracts Administrator to support the preparation, processing, and administration of contracts, bids, and proposals throughout the lifecycle. The role ensures accuracy, compliance, and organized recordkeeping across all contract activities.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years of contracts administration experience, with ITAR/EAR/FCPA knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review contract terms and supporting documentation to identify risk or compliance issues.
  • Compile and organize materials and agreements to verify completeness and policy compliance.
  • Serve as a point of contact between Sidus Space and subcontractors for contract implementation.
  • Maintain and organize contract files to support regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Document and update contracting policies, controls, and procedures.
  • Coordinate with Finance, HR, Pricing, BD, and other areas to plan process improvements.
  • Stay updated on laws and regulations impacting contract requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Contracts Administrator supports the preparation, processing, and administration of contracts, bids, and proposals in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations. This role provides administrative and documentation support throughout the contract lifecycle, helping ensure accuracy, compliance, and organized recordkeeping across all contract-related activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Review contract terms and supporting documentation to help identify potential risk or compliance issues for further evaluation.
  • Compile and organize supporting materials and agreement documents related to contracts to verify completeness and compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Serve as a point of contact between the organization and subcontractors to help facilitate the administrative implementation of contracts.
  • Maintain and organize contract files and records to support compliance with reporting and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in documenting and updating contracting policies, controls, and procedures in accordance with corporate objectives and requirements.
  • Coordinate and communicate with Finance, Human Resources, Pricing, Business Development, and other functional areas to support the implementation of contracting process improvements.
  • Keep abreast of applicable laws, government regulations and industry guidance that impact contract requirements.

Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 2-3 years’ contracts administration experience; Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred; aerospace industry experience preferred
  • Knowledge of international contracting including ITAR, EAR and FCPA preferred
Required Skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with short response times
  • Ability to handle multiple activities, contracts, and customers simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both internally with technical staff, peers, and executive management as well as externally to customers, industry peers, and competitors
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting or standing in an office environment
Travel Requirement

Able to travel <10% of the time

Shift/Schedule

This position is for the day shift generally working 7:00am – 4:00pm or 8:00am – 5:00pm.
