  • Evaluate and document whether approved U.S. GAAP requirements have been translated accurately into accounting-system configurations, data flows, account mappings, interfaces, automated and manual journal logic, reconciliations, and reporting outputs, and propose sustainable controls for the supervisor’s approval where automation is incomplete.
  • Perform and document materiality assessments and technical implementation analyses, and present conclusions for financial instrument topics such as effective interest rate, accrual status for non-performing loans, modification accounting for loans, and up-front loan fees.
  • Prepare clear status reporting to the U.S. Accounting Committee, including concise articulation of open decisions, risks, dependencies, required actions, accountable owners, and closure evidence.
Qualifications and Competencies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA strongly preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience.
  • Technical U.S. GAAP expertise, with the ability to translate accounting requirements into practical policies, materiality conclusions, desktop procedures, controls, journal logic, and system requirements.
  • Experience reviewing accounting-system implementations, including general-ledger design, subledger-to-GL interfaces, chart-of-account mapping, automated and manual entries, reconciliations, data lineage, UAT, and implementation controls.
  • Experience with Federal Reserve supervision or regulatory expectations applicable to U.S. branches or agencies of foreign banking organizations is preferred.
