Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a Principal Analyst, Security for SAP responsibilities in a classified environment. You will administer security policies, develop SOPs, and manage security programs across facilities and subcontractors.

Qualifications

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or
  • An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Experience implementing the following policies: NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07, and ICD 705.
  • Experience with Microsoft products
  • Qualifications we Value Degree major in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or other related field of study
  • At least 6 years of National Security experience preferred
  • Related training with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) including, Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC)

Responsibilities

  • Administer security procedures (NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07, ICD 705, JSIG) for a classified environment.
  • Develop and implement SOPs, OPSEC plans, and risk-based test plans.
  • Implement a media control program per JSIG requirements.
  • Provide security oversight to subcontractors and units via the DD Form 254.
  • Establish, accredit, and maintain a secure facility per ICD 705.
  • Oversee procedures for transmission of classified or proprietary material.
  • Maintain a visitor control program.
  • Coordinate internal reviews and government inspections.
  • Investigate security infractions and assess risk to programs.
  • Collaborate with ISSO/ISSM on JSIG requirements.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license; may escort across locations.

Security - Special Access Program (SAP) Security personnel interface with customers and the government on security requirements for proprietary programs as well as providing guidance and support to employees working on such activities, helping them stay abreast of changes and updates in requirements. The Principal Analyst, Security will perform a wide variety of tasks as part of the Special Programs Security Team. Duties include but are not limited to: developing, reviewing and administering the program’s security policies in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment to ensure compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Department of Defense Manual (DoDM) 5205.07, and Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG). Providing oversight and guidance related to security policies and procedures to ensure successful contract execution.


What You Will Do


  • Administering the security procedures (NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07, Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705, and JSIG), as they relate to operating in a classified environment for: personnel processing, media control, marking and control of documents / materials, security education, visitor control, destruction of classified.

  • Develop, prepare, and implement local Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Operations Security (OPSEC) Plans, and proprietary test plans utilizing risk management principles.

  • Implement a media control program in accordance with JSIG requirements.

  • Provide security oversight and management to subcontractors and subordinate business units via the DD Form 254 or other contractual methods.

  • Establish, gain accreditation, and maintain a secure facility in accordance with (IAW) ICD 705.

  • Establish and oversee specialized procedures for the transmission of classified and/or proprietary material/information.

  • Establish and maintain a visitor control program.

  • Conduct and/or participate in internal reviews and/or Government inspections.

  • Investigate security infractions/violations and prepare reports specifying the potential for loss or compromise and the associated risk to the program(s).

  • Collaborate and assist the ISSO / ISSM on implementation of JSIG requirements.

  • A valid driver’s license is needed as this position may involve escorting individuals across business locations.

Salary Range

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
