Job summary

Environmental Management Inc. is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support and advance a comprehensive safety program across all operations. This role ensures OSHA compliance and adherence to company policies, conducting inspections and coordinating training.

The Safety Coordinator will promote a safe work environment, perform inspections, investigations, and collaborate with leadership to address safety concerns in Central Ohio.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
• CPR/First Aid Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of safety and accountability across all levels of the organization
• Conduct routine inspections of job sites, facilities, vehicles, equipment, and tools
• Identify hazards, document findings, and recommend corrective actions
• Perform safety audits and maintain detailed records
• Coordinate and deliver safety training programs and toolbox talks
• Collaborate with Operations to address safety concerns

Safety Coordinator

The Safety Coordinator is responsible for supporting and advancing a comprehensive safety program across all company operations. This role ensures compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including OSHA standards, and company policies. The Safety Coordinator conducts inspections, facilitates training, supports incident investigations, and collaborates with operational leadership to promote a safe and compliant work environment.
