This position serves as the Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO), responsible for implementing all customer-related security requirements for contracts in a Sensitive Compartmented Facility. The role includes daily security management oversight for multiple programs, covering physical security, communications security, information security, operational security, and security education. It may also involve responsibilities for COMSEC activities. Candidates must have current experience in security management within the U.S. Government, DoD, Intelligence, or contractor community.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct annual self-inspections using customer-specific and agency-specific checklists.
  2. Develop and maintain security documentation, including OPSEC, SOPs, Protection Plans, DD254, etc.
  3. Prepare and implement security plans or CONOPS outlining regulations and procedures.
  4. Coordinate with Security Managers, executives, government agencies, and program offices.
  5. Ensure compliance of Access Control & Intrusion Detection systems, manage emergency plans, and promote security awareness.
  6. Review and interpret Security Classification Guides and Program Protection Plans.
  7. Conduct security briefings and administer program indoctrinations and debriefings.
  8. Manage classified destruction programs and access requests.
  9. Coordinate with security staff and ensure policy compliance with regulations and customer requirements.
  10. Maintain and update security policies and documentation.
  11. Manage SCIFs according to ICD-705 and government requirements.
  12. Ensure compliance with federal security regulations for safeguarding National Security Information.
  13. Coordinate with government agencies for rulings and deviations.
  14. Observe all applicable laws and regulations in business conduct.
  15. Perform other duties supporting program activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years experience in Facility, Program, Physical Security, CSSO, with a Bachelor's Degree
  • 8+ years experience with a High School Diploma or Associate's Degree
  • Deep understanding of NISPOM and ICD requirements
  • Current TS/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph
  • Strong problem-solving and planning skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certification per DoD Directive 8570
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Recent experience with security policies and procedures, handling classified info, and familiarity with NISPOM, ICDs, and DCIDs
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and dependable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

Pay Range: The salary varies based on location, experience, skills, education, and certifications. The range for this position is $71,500 - $150,200. CACI offers comprehensive benefits including healthcare, wellness, retirement, education, and time off. Learn more here.
