Job description

Contractor Occupational Therapist (OT) – Licensed Occupational Therapist
Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our clinical team as an independent contractor. In this role, you will support children with developmental, sensory, motor, and functional challenges through individualized therapy and skill‑building activities. You will collaborate with families and team members to help each child reach their full potential.

As a 1099 contractor with us, you’ll enjoy the independence of private practice while we take care of the back‑end support. We handle scheduling, billing, and client onboarding so you can focus on delivering exceptional care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform evaluations and assessments to determine therapy needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for pediatric clients
  • Deliver direct therapy services in a clinic‑based setting
  • Educate and collaborate with parents and caregivers on therapy goals and strategies
  • Document services and progress in a timely and thorough manner
  • Adjust treatment plans based on client response and developmental needs
  • Participate in team meetings and clinical consultations
  • Address client and family concerns with professionalism and empathy
  • Ensure quality of care consistent with Behaven Kids policies, procedures, and relevant accrediting bodies
Job Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children is preferred.
