Job summary

LRQA is looking for a Contractor Food Auditor to conduct business assurance assessments and provide recommendations for certification under FSSC22000 and ISO9001 standards. This role requires strong client relationships and the ability to produce insightful reports.

The ideal candidate will have GFSI certification, substantial auditing experience, and a degree in a relevant subject. Extensive travel throughout North America is essential, along with excellent communication skills and a focus on client service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of full-time work experience in food-chain-related industry.
• At least two years in quality assurance or food safety.
• Ability to travel extensively throughout North America.

Responsibilities

• Perform business assurance assessments and recommend certification.
• Build strong external and internal client relationships.
• Produce accurate, insightful reports.

Skills

GFSI standard auditor certification

Experience in third party auditing/assessment

Experience in food safety functions

Communication skills

Competency in Microsoft Office

Education

Degree in relevant subject (microbiology, chemistry, food science)
