• Configuring layer 3 network devices, specifically Juniper and Arista switches.
• Configuring power infrastructure, including APC and Tripp Lite PDUs and ATS.
• Rack, stack, and cable equipment.
• Receiving and booking inventory into the internal system.
• Delivering custom-built servers to customers.
• Firmware upgrade of servers and switches.
• Installing Linux and Windows operating systems.

Essential Functions

• Configuring layer 3 network devices, specifically Juniper and Arista switches.
• Configuring power infrastructure, including APC and Tripp Lite PDUs and ATS.
• Rack, stack, and cable equipment.
• Receiving and booking inventory into the internal system per established procedures.
• Delivering custom-built servers to customers.
• Proper cabling in accordance with company standards.
• Firmware upgrade of servers (BIOS, RAID controller, and IPMI).
• Firmware upgrade of switches and PDUs.
• Labeling, patching, and running fiber.
• Hard‑drive check, wiping, and degaussing drives.
• Installing Linux and Windows operating systems and configuring them so the system is reachable remotely for troubleshooting or deployment.
• Installing and configuring hardware and software RAID.
• Configuring IPMI so the console is remotely accessible.
• Following detailed instructions with great precision in a reasonable amount of time for the specified tasks.
