Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Contractor Special Access Program Security Officer (CSSO) to join our team in Costa Mesa, CA. This security role supports SAP programs with high security requirements, involving personnel and physical security, OPSEC, and government interfacing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience.
• At least four years’ experience with special programs in an ACSSO or CSSO role.
• Ability to work independently with broad security principles and processes.
• Build and maintain relationships with government security counterparts.
• DoD Top Secret clearance with current investigation and ability to maintain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and implement security guidance based on ICDs, NISPOM, and DoD policies.
• Handle Personnel Security requirements including SCI/SAP access, nominations, and investigations.
• Manage Physical Security tasks: badging, access control, visitor control, SAP facility documentation.
• Provide classification guidance and visit certifications, foreign travel reporting, and proposal support.
• Ensure proper handling of SCI and SAP materials and secure destruction when needed.
• Investigate security incidents and prepare reports; liaise with government counterparts.
• Provide security awareness training as required by regulations and customers.
• Coordinate IT/ISSO tasks for secure area equipment; support ICD 705 upgrades.
• Maintain SAP security records and program SOPs; manage DD254s.
