Job summary

Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) is seeking Contract Professionals in the BSD who will negotiate and administer contractual agreements, support joint appointment programs, and serve multiple internal stakeholders. The role emphasizes compliance, strategic thinking, and customer service within a DOE contracting framework.

Responsibilities include leading acquisition activities, bid/no-bid decisions, and ensuring contract performance across technical and financial domains.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a related field with 2+ years of contracting experience OR MS/MA or higher.
• Experience with contract negotiations and project management processes is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and contract systems (WALS, EPR, PMR) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, execute, and administer various agreements to support researchers and leadership.
• Provide programmatic, contractual, and administrative support for joint appointment programs.
• Collaborate with internal customers across Project Management, Legal, Sales, HR, and finance.
• Demonstrate strong communication, organization, and prioritization in all tasks.
• Prepare and train others on contract requirements; brief management on proposals and subcontracting activities.
