Job summary

Innovative Therapeutic Services, Corp. (ITS) is growing its school-based mental health team in the Catonsville, MD area.

We seek licensed clinicians and clinical social workers to serve Elementary through High School students in Baltimore County, in-school and via telehealth as needed. Candidates must hold Maryland licensure (LMSW/LCSW-C/LGPC/LCPC/LCMFT) and have strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, psychology, MFT, or social work.
• Active Maryland license in LMSW/LCSW-C/LGPC/LCPC/LCMFT.
• Proficient in MS Office, internet and EHR/EMR; strong communication; reliable transportation.
• Flexible, organized, creative and self-sufficient.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy in a school setting (telehealth when needed).
• Document psychosocial evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries and billing sheets.
• Develop and review treatment plans semi-annually.
• Assess needs for PRP, psychiatric evaluations, medications, or external referrals.
• Attend supervision and staff meetings; participate in professional development activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Now Hiring for the 2026-2027 School Year: Join Our Team of School-Based Mental Health Clinicians!

Innovative Therapeutic Services (ITS) is growing—and we want you to grow with us! We're excited to expand our mental health services within Baltimore County Public Schools and are looking for passionate, dedicated Licensed Clinicians and Clinical Social Workers to serve elementary, middle, and/or high school students in the Catonsville, MD cluster.

Clinicians must be licensed in the State of Maryland (LMSW/LCSW-C/LGPC/LCPC/LCMFT) and will be responsible for providing mental health services to Baltimore County Public Schools' students (ages 4+) in the school setting and/or via telehealth.

Qualifications and Skills

• Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy or Social Work
• Licensed LMSW/LCSWC/LGPC/LCPC/LCMFT in the State of Maryland (active and in good standing)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, internet, EHR/EMR, excellent oral and written communication skills, and reliable transportation
• The position requires flexibility, organizational skills, creativity, and self-sufficiency.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Complete a minimum weekly billable hours by providing individual, family, and/or group therapy in a school setting (telehealth when needed)
• Complete and maintain accurate documentation of client psychosocial evaluations/reassessments, progress notes, treatment plans, discharge/transition summaries, charts, and weekly billing sheets
• Assess and develop individual treatment plans semi-annually
• Assess clients' needs for other types of service such as PRP, psychiatric evaluations, medication management, or referrals for outside treatment depending on the client’s needs
• Attend and participate in weekly/bi-weekly/monthly supervision, clinical staff meetings, and clinical training/professional development training as scheduled
• Other duties as assigned
