Come join the CSP College of Nursing! We are looking for graduate-prepared nurses with expertise in adult medical-surgical nursing to teach our baccalaureate students in the clinical setting. Position Overview: Faculty at Concordia University, St. Paul (CSP) work as members of an academic team of full- and part-time colleagues to consistently deliver engaging instruction to nursing students pursuing their BSN. Faculty are expected to demonstrate innovation and excellence in course instruction, foster an atmosphere of active intellectual and creative engagement with students in and out of the classroom, and support the Christian mission of the university. With students at the center of the university’s mission, delivering a high-quality student experience is a top priority of the Concordia learning community.
Course Description:
NSG 385P (3.0 Credits) Practicum, Nursing Care of Adults and Older Adults I: This practicum enables the student to apply concepts, principles, and skills learned in NSG 385 in the patient/client healthcare environment.
NSG 386P (3.0 Credits) Practicum, Nursing Care of Adults and Older Adults II: This practicum enables the student to apply concepts, principles, and skills learned in NSG 386 to the patient/client healthcare environment.
NSG 420 (4.0 Credits) High Acuity Nursing Care: This course prepares the student to administer evidence-based nursing care to patients across the lifespan in critical, operative, or emergent healthcare environments. Rapid critical thinking skill development is essential for performing this type of nursing care.
