Circuit Clinical is on a mission to transform how people find, choose, and participate in clinical research. Our Remote Site Network is comprised of a virtual network of physician investigators and research experts across the U.S. which enable Circuit to support decentralized clinical trial models.

We are seeking a Contract Virtual Physician Investigator to provide new care options to patients through fully remote visits. Access and inclusion in research are key to providing equitable healthcare. Our focus is on building upon our existing team of researchers and providing them the opportunity to be part of medical advancement.

This position is responsible for performing investigator activities, virtually, on clinical trials. It includes screening visits, research project maintenance and follow-up, research project closeout, and post-closeout safety follow-up.

You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Complete training in applicable research, clinical trial practices, regulatory compliance, and administrative requirements.
• Complete specific training and requirements online for the specific research project.
• Guide potential participants through consent and screening visits.
• Perform comprehensive virtual examinations and assessments of trial participants.
• Conduct remote study visit assessments according to protocol with the support of virtual study coordinators.
• Evaluate and confirm the eligibility of study candidates
• Participate in required and regular study team meetings.
• Sign all required Research Project documents and agreements.
• Participate in remote monitoring visits Including SIV, IMV, and Closeout.
• Assess and report adverse events and/or serious adverse events (AE/SAE)
• Participate in any FDA or sponsor-mandated educational requirements.

Requirements

Position Qualifications:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Medical license(s) in good standing.
• Clinical research experience preferred.

The fine print:

Location: This position is a fully virtual contractor position.

Travel: Travel will not be required

Commitment: Minimum commitment 8 months, variable hours ranging from 8-15 hours a week
