Job summary

The Sage Group is seeking a contract video editor and motion designer to produce polished videos across brand, social, and thought leadership. You will shape raw footage into compelling stories and craft motion graphics from scratch to support our cybersecurity and technology narratives.

This project-based role offers flexible hours, prefers Eastern Time, and a DC-area or remote setup. A strong portfolio demonstrating editing, animation, and storytelling is required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Strong After Effects skills for animation and compositing.
• Experience with live/remote recording workflows using Riverside.
• Excellent pacing, storytelling, and visual composition.
• Portfolio or reel showing editing and motion design work.

Responsibilities

• Social & short form video cuts, teasers, promos.
• Brand and executive video content creation.
• Motion graphics, animation, titles, transitions.
• Edit raw footage into polished stories with pacing.
• Edit and mix audio and voiceovers.
• Shape scripts and narrative structure when needed.
• Own projects from rough brief to final delivery.
