Zusammenfassung

Soliant is seeking a vascular ultrasound technologist to join a diagnostic imaging team in North Carolina on a contract basis. The role involves performing vascular ultrasound exams, documenting findings, and communicating results to the care team, with emphasis on patient history and exam readiness.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in vascular/ultrasound roles, relevant accredited education, and active BLS.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in a vascular or ultrasound technologist role.
• Accredited Associate’s Degree in Sonography, Radiology, or related discipline, or completion of a 12-month ultrasound program.
• Current BLS certification.
• RDCS, RVT, or RCS/ACS/RCCS certifications.

Aufgaben

• Perform comprehensive vascular ultrasound exams, including Doppler and physiologic assessments
• Document preliminary findings; promptly communicate acute results to the care team
• Review relevant patient health history prior to imaging procedures
• Prepare the procedure room and ultrasound equipment for daily use, maintaining readiness between exams
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions to supervisors for quick resolution
• Contribute to staff training and ongoing education when needed
