Job summary

The Mom Project is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst for an on-site contract in Sunnyvale, CA. You will lead restricted party screening, due diligence, and data-driven compliance efforts within a regulated trade environment.

You will analyze large data sets, produce KPI-driven insights, and maintain precise documentation to support audits and regulatory inquiries. A bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in related fields are required, with strong research skills and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Political Science, Intelligence Studies, Criminal Justice, Business Analytics, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in trade compliance, regulatory or legal support, due diligence, risk management, investigations, regulatory compliance, customs, export controls, sanctions screening, financial crime prevention, corporate research, or a related analytical function.
• Experience in investigative research, skip tracing, or similar entity research.

Responsibilities

• Restricted Party Screening & Due Diligence: Review and adjudicate screening alerts; research entities and ownership structures.
• Data Analysis & Compliance Monitoring: Analyze data sets, support reviews, validate data, and develop compliance reports.
• Research & Investigations: Conduct ownership research and gather information for risk assessments.
• Compliance Documentation & Recordkeeping: Maintain audit-ready records and support audits.
• Program Support & Process Improvement: Help update procedures and dashboards; collaborate with Legal, Procurement, Logistics, Finance.
