Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Mid-Level Estimator / Senior Estimator to join a client in the commercial construction industry, focusing on data centers and complex commercial builds. You will develop detailed estimates by reviewing drawings, specs, and bid documents, performing quantity takeoffs, and coordinating with subcontractors and internal teams.

You will leverage Excel, Bluebeam, and Procore to manage estimates, track bid activities, and capture changes or revisions throughout the bidding

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial construction estimating experience.
• Experience performing quantity takeoffs and scope reviews.
• Experience reviewing plans, specifications, and bid documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop detailed cost estimates for large-scale construction projects.
• Review drawings, specs, and bid documents to develop estimates.
• Coordinate subcontractor outreach and bid tracking activities.
• Manage changes, change orders, and price adjustments.
• Collaborate with preconstruction, operations and project management for scope and risk alignment.
• Utilize Excel, Bluebeam, and Procore to manage estimates and document changes.
