Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication with strong interpersonal skills.

  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

  • Track and report recruiting metrics; share benchmarks and insights.
  • Answer FAQs from applicants and employees; escalate complex questions.
  • Promote the company brand and employee referral program.
  • Other duties as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Contract Talent Acquisition Specialistwill be responsible for seeking out qualified candidates, screening candidates, confirming their qualifications and completed the onboarding process. This position is also responsible for identifying future hiring needs, designing job descriptions, sourcing candidates through databases and social media, conducting interviews, preparing paperwork, and keeping abreast of employment law and legislation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Work closely with hiring managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the positions’ requirements, verify the job descriptions and experience level, and develop sourcing strategies to attract candidates.
  • Manage the full lifecycle internal and external recruiting processes, including but not limited to maintaining accurate manpower requisition records, creating and refreshing job postings, sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, making job offers conducting background/reference checks and pre-employment drug test; responsible for onboarding process which includes coordinating new hires onboarding activities, conducting new hire orientation and completing paperwork for new hires.
  • Be a trusted advisor to hiring managers and candidates and have some influencing capabilities.
  • Be naturally self-directed and work as an individual contributor supporting assigned functions’ manpower requisitions.
  • Manage all job board accounts and Applicant Tracking System to track and handle interview slates and other tools to develop robust candidate pipelines.
  • Deliver quality candidate slates by using both validated and creative recruiting methodologies.
  • Proactively source passive candidates through channels such as LinkedIn, Indeed, networking, social media & etc.
  • Plan, coordinate, conduct and attend job fairs.
  • Track and report on recruiting metrics for all positions, including benchmarking to industry standards.
  • Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees related to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes & etc; escape more complex questions to appropriate HR team members.
  • Promote the company’s brand to attract talents and promote the employee referral bonus program.
  • Other duties are assigned as needed.

  • At least 2 years in a Talent Acquisition role managing full-cycle high volume recruiting
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task several projects at the same time; follow thru and complete the assigned duties on time.
  • Must be proactive, organized and detailed oriented.
  • Must have good written & verbal communication and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to deal with all levels of employees.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in complex situation.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
