This position works closely with producers and underwriters to ensure submissions are complete and client service remains exceptional, with accurate data entry and coordinated follow-up tasks.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Underwriting Assistant to support our Contract Surety team. This role assists producers and underwriters throughout the bond placement process, ensuring submissions are processed accurately, clients receive exceptional service, and carrier requirements are met.

How You Will Contribute:

• Provide administrative and underwriting support to producers and underwriters.

Skills & Experience to be Successful:

Required

• Experience in insurance, financial services, administration, or a related office environment preferred.

Preferred

• Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Accounting, or related field.
• Surety, underwriting, brokerage, or agency experience.
• AINS, ARM, CIC, or related designations/coursework.
