Zoox is seeking a Part-Time Student Worker for the ASTE team to contribute to autonomy behavioral validation. The role involves triaging event data using Argus visualizations, performing analysis, and delivering feedback on issues as requested, with duties spanning data analytics, applied math, multimedia forensics, and technical writing. Candidates must be enrolled in a B.S.

or M.S. program, commit to at least 40 hours per week for a minimum three months, and work on-site at Zoox offices.

Role Overview

The ASTE team works on autonomy behavioral validation.

Responsibilities

• The triager role is to take on a list of "events" to be triaged, where each event is comprised of an Argus visualization link of hero's behavior (either in real life or in simulation), and there is a set of instructions on what to look for (what is a true issue and what is a false positive issue), and there are instructions on further analysis tools to determine this.
• The triager will then look through all of the events and provide an analysis on the issues

The Part-Time Student Worker Program is designed to complement your academic experience by providing meaningful, ongoing work alongside your studies. Rather than participating in a cohort-based program, you'll join a team directly and contribute to real projects with real impact.

While the program does not include structured intern programming or a pathway to full-time employment, it offers valuable opportunities to learn, develop new skills, and gain hands‑on experience in a professional environment.

Compensation for this role is $30/hour.

This is a contract position; employment will be through a vendor contracted with Zoox. The hourly rate is as posted, and benefits eligibility is determined by the vendor.
