Shift available: Area: Medical OT-8HR Class: SLP Shift: 1 Start 07:30 End 16:00. Qualifications include at least one year of paid experience, CA license, CPR from the American Heart Association, and familiarity with medical terminology.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year previous working experience within the last 36 months (3yrs) as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• CPR card issued by the American Heart Association
• Must have up to date certification in the state of CA
• You must have at least one year of PAID experience for these positions

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, treating, and preventing speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Creating treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of patients.
• Performing screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educating patients and family members about speech disorders and causes, including disabilities and traumatic events.
• Keeping detailed records relating to patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress.
• Reporting progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals.
