Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a contract Special Education Teacher for high school mornings and a Behavior Intervention Specialist for elementary in the afternoons. The role splits across two school levels with collaboration among staff to foster student growth.

Requirements include Minnesota licensure (Tier 3 or 4) and experience in special education or behavior settings. The position emphasizes behavior plan development and cross-team coaching.

Qualifications

• Minnesota teaching license (Tier 3 or Tier 4) required.
• Experience in special education or behavior specialist preferred.
• Ability to develop, implement, and monitor behavior plans.
• Strong collaboration skills to coach and consult with teachers.

Responsibilities

• Teach high school students 0.5 FTE in morning.
• Serve as Behavior Intervention Specialist in afternoons for elementary teams (no direct caseload).
• Consult with teachers to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Work between two school levels, providing expertise and support.
• Maintain regular communication with multidisciplinary teams.
• Uphold compliance with district and state requirements.
