About the Role

Global Solutions International (GSI) is seeking Contract Specialists / Procurement Analysts to provide direct support to the National Park Service (NPS) Denver Service Center (DSC). This role supports large-scale design and construction projects across the NPS by ensuring timely, compliant, and effective contracting support.

The ideal candidate will bring strong federal contracting expertise in pre-award and post-award functions, with experience in construction and architect-engineer (A/E) acquisitions. This position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the stewardship of national park projects while thriving in a collaborative, remote environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct acquisition planning, market research, and assist in determining contract type and solicitation approach.
  • Prepare and issue solicitations, amendments, and related pre-award documentation.
  • Support technical evaluation panels and source selection activities under the guidance of the Contracting Officer.
  • Perform cost/price analysis and document fair and reasonable pricing determinations.
  • Draft award documentation, route for Contracting Officer signature, and prepare award announcement packages.
  • Perform contract administration functions including file maintenance, payroll reviews, and resolution of payment issues.
  • Process modifications, prepare supporting documents, and assist with negotiations.
  • Prepare and complete contract closeout documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with FAR, DIAR, DOI, and NPS acquisition policies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required (business-related major preferred).
  • At least 24 semester hours in business-related coursework (e.g., accounting, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, management) OR FAC-C (or equivalent) certification.
  • 5+ years of Federal Government contracting experience.
  • 5+ years of construction contracting experience.
  • 3+ years of architect-engineer (A/E) contracting experience.
  • Knowledge of FAR, DIAR, and federal procurement systems (e.g., FPDS, PRISM, FBMS).
  • Ability to obtain an HSPD-12 PIV card and pass a federal background investigation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare acquisition documentation and recommendations.
