Job summary

YO IT Consulting is seeking a Contract Specialist to draft, review, and tailor commercial agreements for a range of engagements. You will prepare templates and annotated samples for MSAs, lease, IP licensing, and marketing contracts, ensuring they reflect current legal standards and practical commercial use.

In this remote role, you will collaborate asynchronously with teams, deliver high-quality documents, and clarify requirements as needed.

Qualifications

• Practicing or recently qualified commercial attorney with contract drafting experience.
• Knowledge of MSAs, leases, IP and marketing contracts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; precise contractual language.
• Ability to adapt documents for real-world use.
• Experience with remote collaboration.
• Detail-oriented to ensure legal compliance.
• Interest in legal operations or AI-enabled platforms is a plus.

• Draft, review, and provide high-quality templates, samples, and annotated examples of the following agreement types:
• Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
• Lease Agreements
• Intellectual Property (IP) Licensing Agreements
• Marketing Agreements
• Licensing Agreements
• Ensure all agreements reflect current legal standards, industry best practices, and practical commercial use cases.
• Submit well-structured, high-quality documents that contribute to the project's AI training dataset.
• Communicate promptly and professionally, both in writing and verbally, to clarify requirements and deliverables as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Practicing or recently qualified commercial attorney with exposure to contract drafting and negotiation.
• Working knowledge of standard commercial agreements, including MSAs, lease agreements, IP and marketing contracts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity and accuracy in contractual language.
• Demonstrated ability to create or adapt legal documents for practical, real-world scenarios.
• Experience with remote collaboration and delivering assignments autonomously.
• Detail-oriented approach to ensure agreements comply with relevant laws and best practices.
• Interest or background in legal operations, technology, or AI-enabled platforms is a plus.
