Defense Media Activity in Washington, DC is seeking a Contract Specialist for Stars and Stripes Central. The role supports contracting and procurement functions, developing and promulgating local SOPs, and may serve as the contracting officer for NAF contracts.

This full-time position offers a 40-hour work week, a pay range of $70,000–$78,000 per year, and benefits including health and life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.

Formación

• Experience with contracting and procurement functions.
• Ability to develop and promulgate local SOPs for contracting.
• Possibility to serve as contracting officer for NAF contracts.

Responsabilidades

• Develops and promulgates local SOP for the contracting and procurement functions.
• May serve as the contracting officer, soliciting, awarding and administering all NAF contracts.
• Supports Army NAF employment benefits education and advising on related policies.
