U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is seeking a Contract Specialist at the full performance level with responsibilities across the contracting lifecycle. The position supports DHS missions through acquisition management and requires adherence to federal procurement standards.

Governing rules include FAC-C or equivalent certification, with eligibility for GS-12 grade based on specialized experience. This is a full-time role located at DHS ICE offices in multiple locations.

Qualifications

• 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree in any field.
• Alternative: 24 semester hours in accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, or related fields.
• At GS-7 through GS-12, at least one year of specialized experience is required beyond basic requirements.
• FAC-C or equivalent certification is required at the time of application.
• Transcript(s) must be submitted to verify basic requirements.

Responsibilities

• Providing contracting guidance and assistance throughout the acquisition process.
• Develops and processes contracting actions for complex supply and service requirements.
• Evaluates offers and conducts negotiations in support of contract awards.
• Manages contract performance and post-award actions through completion.
