Job Title: Music & Talent Contract Specialist

Location: Fully Remote (Must be able to work standard PST business hours)

Type: Contract (12 Months with potential extension up to 18 Months)

Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Music & Talent Contract Specialist to join a dynamic team supporting the end-to-end administration of music and talent agreements in the gaming industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the entertainment space with a focus on contract lifecycle management, supplier onboarding, and payment processing.

Key Responsibilities:

Music Licensing & Contract Administration

• Manage the full contract lifecycle from drafting to execution and archival
• Draft and send NDAs and music/talent agreements using approved templates
• Respond to contract-related inquiries and summarize key deal terms
• Maintain and update contract trackers, agreement maps, and SharePoint documentation
• Support MRI audit requests and manage document archival for visibility
• Open and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and invoices; monitor payment statuses
• Submit and coordinate payment term changes
• Facilitate supplier onboarding, tax/vendor form collection, and account management
• Troubleshoot and resolve vendor payment and tax issues
• Manage entries in relevant payment systems

Documentation & Systems

• Maintain contract databases and trackers (e.g., SharePoint, Trevanna)
• Generate internal reports and payment summaries as needed

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in music & talent licensing/contracts, contract drafting/negotiation, and financial/payment administration
• Education: No specific degree or certification required
• Preferred Background:
• Experience in the gaming, music, or media industries
• Familiarity with tools such as Icertis, Trevanna, SharePoint, and Adobe Sign
• Paralegal certification or coursework in music business/contracts is a plus

Qualifications:

Required Skills

• Strong background in contracts administration, legal ops, music licensing, or entertainment business affairs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Outlook, SharePoint), Adobe Acrobat, electronic signature tools, and finance platforms
• Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities with high attention to detail
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with legal, finance, and creative teams

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of music licensing rights in games, film, or media
• Experience with contract/rights management tools (e.g., Icertis, Trevanna)
