Contract Specialist – National Park Service (NPS) Cornerstone Signals & Cyber Technologies (Cornerstone) is seeking five (5) Contract Specialists to support the National Park Service (NPS). As a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVOSB), Woman-Owned (WOSB), and Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB), Cornerstone delivers proven expertise in acquisition and contracting support. With more than a decade of experience supporting DoD, DHS, and Intelligence Community customers, we bring the skills, stability, and commitment needed to successfully execute federal acquisition programs.

Colorado Market (Denver, Colorado Springs, Pueblo)

Position Title: Contract Specialist / Procurement Analyst
Location: Remote (based in Colorado – Denver, Colorado Springs, or Pueblo). Requires proof of a professional home office with high-speed internet, private workspace, and availability for multiple video calls each week. Clearance/Access: Must obtain HSPD-12 PIV card and pass DOI background check.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct acquisition planning, market research, and pre-solicitation documentation under CO/COR guidance.
  • Prepare and issue solicitations, RFQs/RFPs, and amendments.
  • Support evaluation panels, source selection documentation, and negotiation records.
  • Perform cost/price analysis and determine fair/reasonable pricing.
  • Manage contract administration, including invoices, wage determinations, correspondence, and file maintenance.
  • Draft and process modifications, prepare closeout documentation, and support lifecycle contract actions.
  • Operate in DOI systems (PRISM, FPDS, FBMS) for requisition and invoice processing.
  • Attend multiple video calls each week with NPS COs/CORs, project managers, and team members.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (any field) with 24 business credits, or FAC-C equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years federal contracting experience.
  • Minimum 5 years construction contracting experience.
  • Minimum 3 years architect-engineer (A-E) services contracting experience.
  • Strong familiarity with FAR/DIAR.
  • Ability to work remote during core MT hours (9 a.m.–3 p.m.).
  • Must maintain a professional home office or private work area, free from interruptions and suitable for sensitive acquisition work. Candidates may be asked to provide proof (photos or employer verification).
