Job summary

ARCO, a Family of Construction Companies, seeks a Contract Specialist to manage subcontractor and vendor agreements, ensuring policy alignment and risk mitigation. You will partner with Project Managers, Legal and Finance teams, reviewing contracts, advising on insurance obligations, and proposing edits to downstream forms under leadership guidance.

Excellent communication and detail orientation are essential.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a contract administrator, contract manager, contract specialist, or similar role.
  • A legal background: JD, paralegal certificate, or equivalent hands-on construction contract experience with real depth.
  • Knowledge of legal requirements associated with contracts.
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build solid relationships with internal Project Managers, the Legal and Finance teams, and outside vendors.
  • Excellent customer service and verbal/written communication skills; must be extremely organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential risks that contract changes may pose to the company, and analyze and reduce identified risk

A DAY IN THE LIFE
