Job Summary:

The Contract Sourcer is responsible for the front-end candidate pipeline creation and candidate qualification screening. As more fully described in the essential job functions below, this role is primarily responsible for sourcing and prescreening, candidates to be interviewed and considered for TEKsystems customer requisitions by TEKsystems recruiters. This role will be built with a team of 15-25 additional peers who will be working in a virtual call center type environment. We are building a new department within the organization, and this is an exciting and unique opportunity to shape the future of our company by the impact you have each day.

Note: The essential functions of Contract Sourcer is limited to the items below. The Contract Sourcer must not perform recruiter functions including, but not limited to: Managing and providing performance feedback to contract employees; managing changes on current assignments (including terminations); contract employee pay increases, HR issues and conversations; redeployment of contract employees. These tasks must be referred directly to and performed by a recruiter.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Generate candidates through various sourcing methods, including but not limited to TEKsystems’ database, social media platforms, job boards, resume databases, etc.
  • Drive introduction process – document all touch points and relevant updates to candidate status.
  • Identification of candidates specific to skill sets / markets / geography.
  • Creating candidate profiles in applicant tracking system (Connected).
  • Daily goals focused on contacting candidates (via phone and email) in order to understand candidates’ skills, goals, and interests in order to identify active and passive job seekers.
  • Connect qualified candidates with Recruiting Coordinator based on relevant requirement (candidate hand off initial screening process).
  • Generate referrals through networking.
Qualifications

Minimum Education/Abilities/Skills:

  • Associates degree or higher preferred.
  • 1 – 2 years’ work experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical savvy.
  • Comfortable making outbound and receiving inbound phone calls.
  • Customer service focus.
  • Bilingual a plus (but not required).
