Job summary

Boeing is seeking GSCCE Modernization Software Engineers to support the SMS GMM team in Colorado Springs on a contract basis. You will modernize MILSATCOM ground systems and support the full development lifecycle from concept to maintenance for the WGS payloads.

Responsibilities include designing, testing, and debugging, developing automated test scripts, and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure robust software delivery under security constraints.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
• 5+ years of experience with Software Engineering.
• 1+ years working in Software Integration and/or Test activities.

Responsibilities

• Fully competent in core I&T skills, contribute to producibility, cost, and schedule.
• Support and execute test cases and scenarios to validate software functionality, performance, and safety.
• Support trade studies, performance analyses, risk and opportunity assessments.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Participate in verification plan development and validation.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, document findings and provide feedback.
• Review performance issues, identify root causes, and propose solutions.
• Develop clean, maintainable code within the existing codebase.
