GForce Life Sciences seeks a Consultant, Software Engineer for a 12-month contract in Weston, FL. The role centers on understanding current architecture, designing and developing application software components, and collaborating with the PM and engineers to drive project success.

The candidate will follow SDLC procedures, perform unit and component tests, code reviews, and document activities in the Quality Management System. Strong C++ OO skills in production are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science with 5+ years of experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in C++ and Object-Oriented programming in a production environment.

Responsabilités

• Understand existing architecture, codebase, and development workflows.
• Independently design and develop application software components per requirements and architecture.
• Collaborate with Project Management and engineers to ensure project success.
• Follow SDLC procedures to ensure software quality through reviews, tests, and defect management.
• Document software engineering activities following R&D procedures in the Quality Management System.
• Communicate progress, risks, and technical decisions.
