Job summary

Waypoint seeks a Shared Living Provider to open their home for an adult with a developmental disability, supporting education, employment, recreation and daily living skills. This contract role offers a stipend and ongoing collaboration with a supportive agency.

You will be part of the person’s team, helping to identify and achieve personal goals in a home setting, 12 months a year, with training provided where needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21+ and pass background checks.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• Experience with ID/DD preferred but not required.
• DSP and CPR certifications; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Share your home to support an adult with a developmental disability.
• Provide education, employment, recreation, family inclusion, health and independent living skills support.
• Work as part of the person’s team to identify and achieve personal life goals.
