Responsible for analysis of financial statements provided by Contract Services existing Fintech Relationships and new prospects. Will assist Relationship Managers in spreading quarter and year-end financial statements for Risk Assessments, while providing assistance in understanding the trending, risks and opportunities of the financial statements for increased understanding of the long-term viability of the organization to fulfill their financial obligations to The Bank of Missouri. Position will also have the following duties.
There are no supervisory responsibilities in this position.
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university, preferably finance or accounting; and minimum 3 years related experience and/or training as a financial analyst; or equivalent of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customer and the general public.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Other Skills and Abilities: Must have the ability to operate a PC, printer, copy machine, fax machine and telephone. Good working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software. Previous experience with Securitizations; Warehouse Lines of Credit and Master Trusts helpful but not required.
Has frequent contact with all managerial personnel regarding their function's compliance with established financial oversight and operating procedures within Contract Services.
Has moderate contact with external auditors and regulatory authorities regarding required reports and examinations.
