Job summary

Astrally in the United States is seeking an experienced Business Analyst contractor to support digital solution delivery. You will embed with a cross-functional product team, partnering with Product Owners, stakeholders, technology, UX/design, QA, and vendors to translate business needs into actionable requirements.

The ideal candidate quickly grasps complex processes, works independently, facilitates conversations across teams, and drives work from discovery through implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5+ years of IT-related systems or projects experience including Business Analyst work.
• 3+ years in customer-service-oriented IT field.
• 3+ years in agile software development.
• Hands-on with Zephyr Scale, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint.
• Strong analytical and requirements-analysis skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into application requirements.
• Strong business-process analysis and process-mapping capabilities.
• Strong facilitation skills with business and technical stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and ability to manage priorities independently.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, document, and clarify business and functional requirements with Product Owners and stakeholders.
• Translate needs into clear technical and functional requirements for delivery teams.
• Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and refinement discussions with business and Digital stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain process flows, requirements docs, user stories, and acceptance criteria for product delivery.
• Analyze current processes and define improved future-state processes.
• Act as BA for an Agile product team across planning, refinement, development, testing, and implementation.
• Identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and downstream impacts.
• Validate delivered solutions meet business requirements with QA and stakeholders.
