Job summary

Triple Canopy is seeking a Contract Security Officer to enforce physical security for FAA employees and facilities in Michigan. The role includes screening visitors, monitoring cameras and alarms, and responding to incidents on MN/MI campuses.

The ideal candidate will have strong English communication, attention to detail, and experience writing clear incident reports. A valid firearms qualification and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Fluently speak, read and write English.
• Attention to detail is critical for this position.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and the public; follow SOPs and prepare required reports.
• Ability to write official reports in English that are grammatically correct and technically accurate.

Responsibilities

• Enforce day-to-day physical security of FAA MN/MI campuses.
• Control and screen visitors and vehicles; monitor CCTV and alarms.
• Perform magnetometer and x-ray screening; use security equipment.
• Respond to dispatches and emergencies; coordinate with responders.
• Maintain security logs, write incident reports, and conduct patrols.
• Ensure secure handling of firearms and related equipment; maintain qualifications.
