Sony Interactive Entertainment in California is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test Contractor to ensure the quality of PlayStation peripherals and firmware. You will own automated test coverage for features across platforms and collaborate with senior engineers to raise test standards.

We value strong Python and automation skills, a focus on quality, and teamwork within a cross-functional environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Experience writing Python automated tests with pytest and Appium.
• Experience with Git for version control.
• Experience configuring Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with test case management tools like qMetry or TestRail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.

Mansioni

• Write Python automation suites for firmware and platform features.
• Perform integration testing on PlayStation 5, PlayStation Portal, and Windows.
• Improve the shared automation frameworks and test infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot test failures, using execution data to find flaky or slow tests.
• Collaborate with QA, Development, and Product teams to align on test coverage.
