Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist for a contract assignment near Glendale Heights, IL. You will assess and treat students, develop IEP-aligned goals, and collaborate with teachers and families to support communication and academic growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active Illinois state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience in school settings preferred
• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Enthusiasm for working with students from diverse backgrounds

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals
• Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and group, as outlined in IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and other support staff
• Document therapy progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide input and resources to help integrate language interventions within the classroom
• Stay up to date on best practices and compliance standards in school-based therapy
