Job summary

Soliant is seeking a licensed COTA or OT for a 12-week maternity-leave coverage role in a Connecticut school district, starting August 27, 2026. The contract is full-time, with about 7–7.5 hours per day, and may extend based on district needs. Travel between schools within the district is required.

The role involves implementing individualized plans, delivering direct therapy, documenting progress, and collaborating with teachers and families. Virtual interviews are offered.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut COTA license or Connecticut OT license (CT DPH / NBCOT certification)
• Experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
• Reliable transportation to travel between schools within the district
• Temporary maternity leave assignment with high likelihood—but no guarantee—of extension
• Ability to engage a broad range of student ages and needs

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans under supervision
• Provide direct therapy to students with diverse disabilities and educational challenges
• Document interventions and assess student progress
• Collaborate with general and special education staff, parents, and support personnel
• Flexibly serve across different schools as part of a cohesive therapy team
