Job summary

Graybar Electric Company, Inc. is seeking a Sales Trainer to design, implement, and continuously improve sales onboarding, development, and coaching programs.

You will partner with business leaders, sales managers, learning and development, and subject matter experts to deliver training and measure business impact. You will lead instructor-led training, virtual sessions, workshops, and cohort-based learning, leveraging diverse methodologies including AI-enabled practice and on-the-job learning.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in sales, sales leadership, sales training, or sales enablement minimum
• Four-year degree or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of the sales process and consultative selling
• Knowledge of facilitation methods
• Knowledge of learning program design
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Time management and organizational skills
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to build relationships and influence within assigned functions
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute effectively
• Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights

Responsibilities

• Providing coaching and performance support to sales trainees and sales professionals.
• Partner with sales managers to strengthen coaching effectiveness and reinforce learning in the field.
• Support learners through structured development plans, readiness assessments, and milestone reviews.
• Coordinate training schedules, cohorts, assessments, and learning activities.
• Ensure training programs are executed consistently across districts and business units.

This position is a 6-12 month contract, with possibility to hire.
