Job summary

Service Robot Co. is seeking a Contract Robot Technician to install, maintain and repair commercial robots at customer sites in San Diego and surrounding areas. This on-site role includes following safety procedures and collaborating with a remote specialist for complex issues.

You will perform inspections, follow checklists, document visits with notes and photos, and train customer staff to operate the robots. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Practical experience fixing or maintaining equipment.
• Solid troubleshooting across mechanical and electrical problems.
• Able to read wiring diagrams and follow detailed work instructions.
• Reliable, a clear communicator, and you keep accurate job records.
• Willing to ask for help and report mistakes.
• A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle to get to customer sites.
• Able to work in different weather conditions and lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

About The Role

As a Contract Robot Technician, you are our person on site. You install, maintain and repair commercial robots at customer locations, and a remote specialist supports you on every job.

Previous Robotics Experience Is Not Required

Bonus points

• Experience with commercial robots, such as cleaning, delivery or mowing robots.
• Customer-facing field service experience.
• Spanish.

Pay

This is contract work, paid per completed work order, at $25 to $55 per hour.
