Shift: Nights
The community you’ll be caring for:
· Designated Emergency Center of Excellence, recognizing our facility as a high-performing emergency department.
The role you’ll contribute:
The Staff RN coordinates care and services for selected patient populations across the continuum of illness, promotes effective utilization of healthcare resources, and provides input to the interdisciplinary team via the Charge Nurse to achieve optimal clinical and resource outcomes. The Staff RN adheres to and follows the goals, philosophy, policies, standards, and guidelines of Texas Health Huguley.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Assesses, develops, implements, and evaluates comprehensive care plans through a multidisciplinary team process in collaboration with patients and families in internal and external settings.
Evaluates patients' goals and biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, and discharge planning needs, procuring services through hospital resources.
Contacts other key team members as needed.
Seeks peer consultation for complex cases or significant variances.
Qualifications:
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Completion of a Baccalaureate or Master’s Degree program in Nursing.
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Texas or a qualifying compact state.
