Job summary

Giving Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for a 1099 contract in Mullin, TX. The role provides care at patients' homes for 2 hours per week, at a rate of $38–$40 per hour, with flexible scheduling and background checks required.

Responsibilities include executing physician plans of care, documenting care, administering treatments, and coordinating with families and care teams to ensure high-quality home health services.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN license (state or compact).
• Minimum 1+ year RN experience in clinical or home health.
• Current CPR certification.
• TB test willingness.
• Maintain required insurance.
• Must have dependable transportation and commute to patient home.

Responsibilities

• Execute physician-prescribed plans of care
• Complete compliant documentation of the care in the system of record
• Manage and administer prescribed medication, treatment, and therapies
• Perform various activities associated with daily living
• Monitor for changes in the patient's condition, such as weight loss/gain, self-care abilities, and indicators of disease progression
• Communicate with family members, physicians, case managers, and other prescribed individuals regarding the patient's health
• Work with patients is done one-on-one in the patient's home to provide a comfortable environment
• Collaborate with and supervise Certified Nursing Assistants and Personal Care Attendants
• Perform other personal care services as necessary to meet the patient's needs
