Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses seeks a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer for a 13-week contract in Cumberland, MD. The role involves performing ultrasound imaging with independent judgment and technical skill on a rotating shift schedule (10 x 4).

Qualified applicants will hold ARDMS certification, BLS, and have at least two years of sonography experience from a CAAHEP-accredited program. Travel reimbursement, housing allowance, meals, and other benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal ultrasound training from a CAAHEP-accredited program.
• 2 years of ultrasound experience required.
• ARDMS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures and generate diagnostic images.
• Operate ultrasound equipment with competence and accuracy.
• Adhere to established protocols and universal patient safety standards.
• Document and code exams and charges accurately.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and follow universal protocol.
